This weekend they will play a three-day series against North Alabama in Florence, AL. All the games this weekend will be available to watch on ESPN. BISONS WIN!!     Check out our Instagram page to see a video update from Kylie Kissler. The Baseball team won two of three games against Queens this weekend in North Carolina. On Tuesday they picked up where the left off with #4 Vanderbilt, this time on their turf, after last weeks game was postponed. Lipscomb lost to Vanderbilt 1-11. They start their three-day series against Liberty on Friday. The Softball team lost the series against Jacksonville 0-3, as well as their mid week game against Chattanooga 1-3. This Saturday and Sunday they compete against Stetson in a home weekend series. The Women’s Golf team took first place in the Georgia State Spring Invitational…

Baseball ended their spring break in a three-day series against Jacksonville, losing Friday but winning [heftily] on Saturday and Sunday. Their Tuesday game against Vanderbilt was postponed to March 28 of next week, due to weather. This weekend, they will be in North Carolina for another three-day weekend series against Queens. The Friday game will be aired on ESPN+. Softball ended their spring break with three wins over Bellarmine at Draper Diamond on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend.     Check out our Instagram for a live video update from Micah Barkley. This week in Lipscomb Athletics: Women’s Golf came in first out of 11 at the Samford Intercollegiate Tournament. Softball did well in their weekend series this past weekend, playing four games and winning three of them to take the series. Their only loss was to Providence, in their second game against the team.     Roeser writing new story with tennis team

    After a period of particularly high peaks and cavernous lows in the past five years, it’s time for the Lipscomb men’s tennis team to start anew. Last year’s 4-14 record included a 1-7 ASUN mark, and at the helm of an impending rebuild is first-year head coach Ben Roeser, whose hire was announced by Lipscomb Athletic Director Philip Hutcheson this summer. While Roeser’s arrival indicates an opportunity for Lipscomb to start anew, it’s also a chance for Roeser himself to do the same.     Tennis Team Revived with New Players and Coaching

    Recently the tennis program at Lipscomb Academy has made some noticeable feats, such as going to the state tournament last year. The team’s commitment and ability is on the rise as the the program works to reestablish themselves as dominant competitors. There’s multiple reasons for Lipscomb’s rise in tennis. The program has made some developments in skill over the last two years. Sophia Cullison and Maryn Brown lead the team to its first state appearance since 2015 and its first tournament win since 2004. Coach Brown said she is “incredibly proud.”  Brown spoke about the team’s shift from a lower division where “we were constantly winning state,” into a higher…
