Lipscomb’s Black Student Association (BSA) brought a taste of the wild west to campus today, hosting its highly anticipated “Cowboys and Cowgirls” themed cookout at the Pavilion from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event was a high-energy gathering designed to unite the campus community before the long holiday weekend. Students showed up clad in western wear, filling the air with music, laughter and line dancing. The Bisons fell behind early following a quick structural burst from the Cardinals in the opening 12 minutes, but fought back behind a first-half strike before Louisville secured late insurance. Lipscomb baseball’s 2026 season ended Saturday with a 10-4 loss to No. 3 seed Louisiana in an elimination game at Dudy Noble Field. The loss wrapped up the Bisons’ NCAA Regional run after they won the ASUN Championship to earn a berth in the tournament. Louisiana took control early. Bisons drop regional opener to Mississippi State, face elimination Saturday
Lipscomb baseball dropped its NCAA Regional opener this Friday, 10-1, to host Mississippi State at Dudy Noble Field. The loss moved the Bisons into the elimination bracket. They will now face Louisiana on Saturday afternoon. Mississippi State’s pitching staff kept Lipscomb’s offense in check for most of the game. They beat Florida Gulf Coast University 4-1 on Thursday in the opening round of the ASUN Tournament.
