This weekend they will play a three-day series against North Alabama in Florence, AL. All the games this weekend will be available to watch on ESPN. BISONS WIN!!     Singarama performances ‘sparkle’ on opening night of Diamond Anniversary

    On what was a beautiful night for song and dance in Nashville, students, faculty, and other members of the Lipscomb community came together for the opening night of Lipscomb’s annual “Singarama” event. After months of commitment, preparation, and anticipation, students participating in the event were finally able to see all of their hard work come to fruition; performing in front of what was a packed crowd inside of Collins Alumni Auditorium. Included in the massive audience was Lipscomb graduate (1965) Coba Craig, who came up with the idea for Singarama six decades ago while he was a student. The theme of this year’s event was diamonds.     Good Morning Lipscomb Athletics! – Weekly Sports Update

    Check out our Instagram page to see a video update from Kylie Kissler. The Baseball team won two of three games against Queens this weekend in North Carolina. On Tuesday they picked up where the left off with #4 Vanderbilt, this time on their turf, after last weeks game was postponed. Lipscomb lost to Vanderbilt 1-11. They start their three-day series against Liberty on Friday. The Softball team lost the series against Jacksonville 0-3, as well as their mid week game against Chattanooga 1-3. This Saturday and Sunday they compete against Stetson in a home weekend series. The Women’s Golf team took first place in the Georgia State Spring Invitational…

    Singarama celebrates 60 years

    The Diamond Anniversary 1964 was an important year. The Beatles took the United States by storm, the fight for racial equality was in full swing, and our military took its first shots in the Vietnam War. Here at Lipscomb University, a new tradition was born. It would become an annual event called Singarama. Singarama is a 2-day performance where the Social Clubs (Lipscomb’s version of Fraternities and Sororities) and other students sing, dance, and entertain. These shows are written, directed, and staged by the students. It’s a competition. The performances are judged on choreography, sets and props (visuals), vocals, entertainment, and the overall theme.     Mass shooting at private school in Green Hills near Lipscomb

    Update 3:45 p.m.: The shooter has been identified as Audrey Hale. She is believed to be a former student at the school, but that has not been confirmed at this time. Update 12:53 p.m.: Metro Nashville PD identified the shooter as a 28-year-old Nashville woman. Update 12:30 p.m.: Seven are confirmed dead, this includes three students, three staff members, and the shooter. The shooter had been identified as a female. Update 12:00 p.m.: Two additional adults and the shooter are confirmed dead. At this point, it is unclear if the shooter is one of the adults being confirmed dead. Baseball ended their spring break in a three-day series against Jacksonville, losing Friday but winning [heftily] on Saturday and Sunday. Their Tuesday game against Vanderbilt was postponed to March 28 of next week, due to weather. This weekend, they will be in North Carolina for another three-day weekend series against Queens. The Friday game will be aired on ESPN+. Softball ended their spring break with three wins over Bellarmine at Draper Diamond on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend.     Lipscomb adding two new on-campus dining options next school year, also expanding convenience store

    It’s time to say goodbye to the old, and hello to the new. If you’re someone that has been craving healthier eating options at Lipscomb, then we’ve got some good news for you. Two new on-campus dining options will be coming to Lipscomb next year. ‘Boar’s Head Deli’ will be replacing ‘Pie on the Fly’, and ‘Wild Blue’ will be replacing ‘Creekstone Burger Company’. Softball did well in their weekend series this past weekend, playing four games and winning three of them to take the series. Their only loss was to Providence, in their second game against the team.
