The Lipscomb University men’s soccer team fell to the University of West Florida 1-0 on a heartbreaking goal in the 86th minute Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex. It was a chilly night with temperatures ranging from the high 40s to low 50s. During the game, the Bisons sported pink jerseys in honor of the program’s annual breast cancer awareness night. Lipscomb baseball’s offense got off to a scorching hot start to the fall ball season, defeating Belmont University 13-8 at E.S. Rose Park in an October “Battle of the Boulevard”exhibition. The Bisons fell behind early following a quick structural burst from the Cardinals in the opening 12 minutes, but fought back behind a first-half strike before Louisville secured late insurance. Lipscomb baseball’s 2026 season ended Saturday with a 10-4 loss to No. 3 seed Louisiana in an elimination game at Dudy Noble Field. Bisons drop regional opener to Mississippi State, face elimination Saturday
Lipscomb baseball dropped its NCAA Regional opener this Friday, 10-1, to host Mississippi State at Dudy Noble Field. The loss moved the Bisons into the elimination bracket. They will now face Louisiana on Saturday afternoon. Mississippi State’s pitching staff kept Lipscomb’s offense in check for most of the game. They beat Florida Gulf Coast University 4-1 on Thursday in the opening round of the ASUN Tournament.
