Marketing week highlights important skills for students
Last year Lipscomb’s AMA traveled to the international conference for the first time and returned not only having placed in every category they competed in but, according to club’s president Jason Southall, with inspiration for expanding their club. AMA, short for American Marketing Association, is a largescale organization providing connections and resources for “marketers and academics” within the business community. Marketing Week, which took place from Oct. 19-26, is one of the fruits of the Lipscomb chapter’s inspiration.

Boulevard Breakthrough: Behind the scenes of the Bisons’ long-awaited win
Last night, the Lipscomb Bisons faced off against the Belmont Bruins in the historic men’s basketball Battle of the Boulevard. The Bisons lost to the Bruins in 2021. Students across Lipscomb’s campus were hoping for a different outcome this year. And if not that, then at least a closer game. The Bisons, however, did not disappoint.

Parking on campus: is it as bad as you think?
Parking is a problem that Lipscomb University has faced since (what seems like) the beginning of time. It’s maddening. It’s frustrating. It’s… maybe not as bad as you think. There are 1,367 spots on this campus for students, including the 68 handicap-accessible spots. That number seems pretty irrelevant when it takes 20 minutes to find a parking spot on campus, but maybe we just aren’t looking in the right place.
