Bisons battle to 1-1 draw at UAB in gritty season opener
The Lipscomb men’s soccer team opened its 2026 season with a 1-1 draw against the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Thursday night at PNC Field. The Bisons struck early in the second half to grab the lead, but the UAB Blazers answered back midway through the frame, leaving both sides with a point in a physical season opener. Lipscomb redshirt junior goalkeeper Alex Kara recorded one save on the night. Lipscomb falls in Friday night thriller
SOUTH BEND, Indiana – Following an emotional, hard-fought 77-75 win on Monday night against Belmont in the Battle of the Boulevard at Allen Arena, the Lipscomb Bisons fell 66-65 to their ACC foe, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Purcell Pavilion in South Bend, Indiana. From the get-go, the team got off to a hot start, building off the momentum of Monday.
