Lipscomb by the numbers: Beaman Library
This week Lipscomb by the numbers heads over to Beaman Library. The library sees a lot of traffic each semester. Students pick up and check out books for classes, books for research, and books for fun. Herd Media went to the library to see just how many books that is. Last semester, students checked out 1,297 books and read or downloaded 3,295 ebooks. The numbers are already rising this semester, despite being only a month into it. Lipscomb University’s AMA hikes for the homeless
One of the biggest items on a resume is volunteer work. Students can join the American Marketing Association (AMA) at Lipscomb University to gain experience in marketing and be given chances to serve their community. Every year, AMA attends a service project around the Nashville area to serve their community and raise awareness for the organization. This year, they are attending Hike for Safe Haven hosted by Safe Haven Family Shelter.
