Lipscomb’s Sophomore Goalkeeper Kaina Cesar has been selected to play for the Haitian national team. The stellar goalkeeper who hails from Tours, France just completed her first season with Lipscomb in which she was voted to the 2024 All-ASUN Freshman Team and started in all 17 matches she appeared in. Jalyn Holcomb starts February strong, taking three Lipscomb records, one personal record
Lipscomb women’s basketball graduate student guard Jalyn Holcomb has had a fantastic February. Only two weeks into the month, she’s clinched two all-time records for the women’s team. Holcomb is now not only Lipscomb women’s leading three-point scorer, but also the women’s all-time Division 1 leading scorer as well. She’s made 216 three-point shots and scored 1,412 points overall. She is also now the leader in percentages for both field goal and three-point accuracy for the Lady Bisons, with a career high of 30 points in one game. Lipscomb WSOC take home rings from the ASUN Championship
Lipscomb’s Women’s Soccer team took their season by storm, finishing the regular season with a 14-3-4 record. They won against teams like Ole Miss and Eastern Kentucky, and beat rival Belmont 3-1 while almost six hundred students and fans watched. Attending sporting events and cheering on your team is always a good time, it’s even more fun when they’re winning. Right now, Lipscomb is doing just that. Not just one, but many of Lipscomb’s sports teams are ranked first in the ASUN right now. So how good are these teams? Let’s break it down. Another “stampede-like” year for sports
Another year has gone by for Bison’s basketball and soccer and it’s been a good one. Although there still are a few sports in season, or just starting their season, the school year is closing fast and it’s time to look back at how the herd handled the rest of the nation. After making it to the ASUN conference playoffs last year, the Men’s basketball team returned once again. The guys didn’t play as well as expected, bringing in a record of 20 wins and 13 losses.
