    Late jumper gives men’s basketball dramatic victory over TTU

    The Lipscomb men’s basketball team beat the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles 64-63 Wednesday night in a matchup which included 10 lead changes. After two consecutive road losses, the Bisons rebounded in a revenge game from last year’s matchup against its foe. Graduate center Ahsan Asadullah started the game strong on the offensive end with five rebounds and four points within the first six minutes of the game.     Women’s basketball powers past Delta Devilettes

    The Lipscomb Women’s Basketball Team defeated the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils by a final score of 67-45 Monday evening. Aleah Sorentino, a redshirt sophomore transfer from Ole Miss, started the first quarter off strong with six points after making three of her first four shots. Sorrentino would score on a layup to take a 13-7 Bisons lead at the end of the quarter. Both teams struggled with turnovers in the second quarter, and the Bisons were unable to separate themselves from the Delta Devils.     Volleyball suffers another straight-set loss

    The Lipscomb volleyball team suffered their second loss at home to ASUN competition as they lost to Jacksonville State in three sets.  The Bisons lost the first set 25-22 after a back-and-forth set where the Gamecocks were able to prevail. The second set was a similar story as Jacksonville State took a 6-0 scoring-run after the Bisons earned the first two points. A comeback attempt by the Bisons was not enough as they lost the second set 25-19.
