    For the fourth time in program history, Lipscomb baseball is the ASUN Conference champion. The Bisons rallied in the ninth inning and won 5-4 in 10 innings against North Alabama on Saturday afternoon at Melching Field to claim the ASUN Tournament title. With the victory, Lipscomb secured an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament. Junior infielder Cam Pruitt was named the ASUN Tournament MVP. North Alabama struck first against Lipscomb graduate pitcher Collin Bosley-Smith.     Lipscomb baseball carried its final regular season series’ momentum into the postseason at Melting Field at Conrad Park. They beat Florida Gulf Coast University 4-1 on Thursday in the opening round of the ASUN Tournament. Lipscomb got a strong start from senior pitcher Alexander Llinas, who capitalized on the Bisons’ three-run fifth inning to secure the victory. The Bisons scored the game’s first run in the third inning.     Lipscomb baseball clinched the ASUN Gold Division title with a 7-4 win over Central Arkansas in the regular-season finale Saturday at Bear Stadium. Behind a four-hit outing from junior utility player Hutson Miles and a strong performance from junior outfielder Jordan Thomas, the Bisons secured the division crown and a top seed entering the postseason.     Lipscomb baseball is kicking off its season on Valentine’s weekend this year, taking to Ken Dugan field for the team’s opening series against the Dayton Flyers. The Bisons’ roster is made up of 38 players, 17 of whom are new to the team.     Lipscomb Baseball’s NCAA Tournament path has been revealed; here’s everything you need to know

    After their ASUN championship victory against FGCU on Sunday, the Lipscomb Bisons won the ASUN Tournament Championship and clinched an automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament. This will be the third time in program history that Lipscomb has made the NCAA Tournament and is the first time since 2015. Though the Bisons knew that their place in the tournament was secured, what they didn’t know was who they would be playing against or where.
