Bisons continue perfect ASUN form in 5-0 win over Austin Peay
The defending ASUN champions secured a dominant 5-0 win over the Austin Peay Governors on Sunday.
The massive win was in large part due to junior midfielder Bella Carapazza’s performance running the midfield. The captain scored one goal and one assist in the second half of the game.

The Bisons broke the deadlock in the 15th minute through freshman forward Skylar Cole but were held back for the rest of the half. The Governors eventually capitulated in the second half, conceding four goals.
By the end of the game, the Governors had only managed to get one shot on goal, while the Bisons put ten shots on target. Lipscomb starting goalkeeper, sophomore Kaïna Cesar did not make a single save before getting substituted the game at the 79th minute.
The Bisons are now 3-0-0 in conference games, while the Governors are still looking for their first win of the season. Another conference game awaits the Bisons on Thursday, where they will travel to face Central Arkansas.
