Will Pruitt talks NCAA Tournament, future, team

Men’s basketball senior guard Will Pruitt has seen a lot during his time playing at Lipscomb University, but he’s stuck with the team through it all. This year, he wound up with the opportunity to play on an NBA court during the first round of the NCAA Tournament, after bringing home the ASUN Championship for Lipscomb.

Herd Media’s Micah Barkley sat down with Pruitt in the Herd Media News studio to talk about what it was like to play at the NCAA Tournament, as well as what he sees for both his future and the team’s. Pruitt was optimistic about both, and called Lipscomb “a forty year decision, not just a four year decision.”

*Note: this interview was filmed before former Lipscomb Head Coach Lennie Acuff announced his decision to coach at Samford, and the players were also unaware of his decision at the time.
