Jalyn Holcomb starts February strong, taking three Lipscomb records, one personal record
Lipscomb women’s basketball graduate student guard Jalyn Holcomb has had a fantastic February. Only two weeks into the month, she’s clinched two all-time records for the women’s team. Holcomb is now not only Lipscomb women’s leading three-point scorer, but also the women’s all-time Division 1 leading scorer as well. She’s made 216 three-point shots and scored 1,412 points overall. She is also now the leader in percentages for both field goal and three-point accuracy for the Lady Bisons, with a career high of 30 points in one game. Another “stampede-like” year for sports
Another year has gone by for Bison’s basketball and soccer and it’s been a good one. Although there still are a few sports in season, or just starting their season, the school year is closing fast and it’s time to look back at how the herd handled the rest of the nation. After making it to the ASUN conference playoffs last year, the Men’s basketball team returned once again. The guys didn’t play as well as expected, bringing in a record of 20 wins and 13 losses.
