Bisons defeat WCU by twenty-one points after losing to Belmont

Following a loss to the Belmont Bruins earlier in the week, the Bisons come up strong against Western Carolina University at home, defeating them 83-62. The Bisons went into halftime with an 11-point lead over WCU and extended the lead throughout the second half.

Graduate student forward Grant Asman took player of the game, scoring 22 points, tying a career record established earlier in the season. Other leading scorers of the night include redshirt junior guard Ethan Duncan with 18 points, redshirt junior guard Ross Candelino with 12 points and graduate student forward Cole Middleton with six points.

Lipscomb men’s basketball now has a record of 2-0 at home and 0-4 away. The Bisons head to Huntington, West Virginia, on Wednesday, Nov. 26 to take on Marshall University at 3 p.m.
