A look back at basketball with Jacob Ognacevic

Men’s basketball senior forward Jacob Ognacevic closed out his four-year career at Lipscomb University with an ASUN Championship ring and an offer from a Big Ten school. Both of these were the result of much hard work on the 6’8″ forward’s behalf.

Ognacevic will start his next season of play as a University of Washington Husky. The team is currently in the middle of their summer training. Ognacevic will be keeping his number 41 as he starts playing for the Huskies.

Herd Media’s Micah Barkley sat down with Ognacevic several times throughout the 2024-25 season as part of a series – pre-season, mid-season and post-season. (Click the links to read any of the articles.) After the NCAA Tournament, Barkley and Ognacevic sat down with a video camera. Watch this video to hear from both Ognacevic and others about his journey as a basketball player, what’s shaped him and how he’s shaped the team.
